These assemblies are part of an ongoing series in which I bring together various "leftover" elements from my artistic process. Clay experiments are mounted on plaster plates - these plates are the very surfaces I work on in my studio. The marks and stains on the plaster bear witness to the rhythms and residues of daily practice.
Fragments from the digital realm and snippets of found text - gathered wherever I happen to encounter them - are printed via UV print onto acrylic glass. Combined with the clay and plaster components, these elements form assemblages that I see as a kind of abstract, visual poetry.
